WARNING: Use only in tea-light or UL-listed electric warmers. Remove packaging before use. Do NOT leave unattended. Keep out of reach of children and pets. Do NOT use for more than 4 hours at a time. Do NOT add water to wax before placing it in warmer.
Directions For Use: Break cubes apart and place one or two of the six wax cubes into the clean dry bowl of an electric or tealight wax warmer. Turn on the device or light the tealight to melt the wax and release fragrance. To remove, turn off the device and allow wax to cool before popping it out of the bowl.
The marigold’s deep connection to Mary is rooted in both its name and its golden appearance.
The name "marigold" comes directly from the term "Mary's Gold." In the Middle Ages, Christians would adorn Marian images with these bright golden blossoms, calling them "Mary's gold." The vibrant yellow and orange colors of the marigold symbolize Mary’s royalty as Queen of Heaven, as well as the radiant spiritual beauty and grace given to her by God.
In Christian art, Marian flowers always point to Jesus. The starburst, sun-like shape of the marigold represents the light of Christ, the "Sun of Justice" (Malachi 4:2), whom Mary carried in her womb and bore into the world.
Marigolds are very hardy and resilient flowers that bloom vibrantly through long stretches of the season. This quality traditionally symbolizes Mary’s steadfast faith, constancy, and her unwavering "yes" to God's will throughout her life.
Because of these associations, marigolds are a central staple in traditional "Mary Gardens"—gardens planted with specific flowers chosen to reflect the virtues, life, and titles of Our Lady.
